We’ve transitioned to the night shift team. They seem to be very good folks. The night shift attending physician was lauded by several of the nurses, and he seemed very cool when he came to introduce himself.
Contractions are picking up a little. Suzanne has stated that they are starting to feel like they did with our second baby, so that’s progress. They’ll remove the cervidil around midnight (if we haven’t had a baby by then) and check the cervix to see how things have progressed.
Suzanne is reading a book called I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief and Joy. It seems to be very helpful and encouraging, and she recommends it. A special shoutout to our new friend who loaned it to her (you know who you are)!
I’ve mentioned the Bridge program before, and I want to link to it so you can learn a little more about it and see the amazing people who make it happen. Check it out here.
