There hasn’t been a ton of change until the last few minutes.
The doctor just inserted a foley bulb to help speed up the dilation. She was still at 2 cm and 60% effaced. This should help get her to 4 cm. Contractions are very regular, and the hope is that this will speed things along.
She’s also back on pitocin, and we just bumped it up to 5. She was in some pain and consented to stadol to help take the edge off. She wants to avoid an epidural if possible, but it’s not off the table depending on pain level.
